The last name Anagnos is derived from the Greek word meaning “reader”. The word Isaz is the Norse rune for Winter.Ophelia “Eurydice” Anagnos is an original character intended for the game Identity V. They are an ambitious anthropologist. Growing up in a small town, raised only by their father, they learned the ways of providing for oneself very young.They are able to put on a front of selflessness and a giving nature, yet they are truly very selfish as a survival instinct. In both platonic and romantic relationships, they are clingy and obsessive, willing to go to extreme lengths to feel secure in the relationship.All people they have no emotional connection to are seen merely as test subjects and experiments.Ophelia grew up in a small town, raised solely by their father, as their mother had passed away while they were a toddler. They went to an all girls school, then graduated from a four-year women's college.
Their father owned a library, known as Anagnos Bookery. The Anagnos family is respected, but by no means rich or high-class. Ophelia was raised to be very proper, their father was hoping to marry them off to someone rich–another bonus would be a son-in-law who could inherit the library.Ophelia willingly came to Oletus Manor in pursuit of the novelist “Orpheus”. They are under the assumption that they are an assistant on equal footing as him, choosing not to believe the reality of the fact that they are just another guinea pig. They are an assistant to the administration of the manor games.To escape their father’s plans for their life, they changed their name to “Eurydice”. As a result of their hiding, they used to dye their hair blond, but no longer do.
